' PC World magazine is published monthly around the world by International Data Group (IDG). It has offered online issues of the magazine since 2013 only. The target audience of PC World magazine would be anyone that has an interest in technology typically older that 15 or 16 years old. Thus making the target audience very large, which then can lead to any advertisement . The contents of PC World mainly contains technology related items from actually computers and software to new PC tech that has recently came out. One of the main reasons why PC Worlds audience is so large is because it is simply a pc magazine however since this topic is so broad people who play video games can even read this because often they also like all tech related items. Target Audience and Marketing Reshearch - Game Informer

Image
Game Informer magazine is the 4th largest print magazine in circulation in the U.S. with about 7.6 million copies sold each month. The target audience for Game Informer magazine is ages 16-34. The target audience for Game Informer magazine is the same for my magazine because the content and genre is similar. The topic for my magazine is video games, technology, eSports, and entertainment, along with most tech. When it comes to Game Informer they gear their magazine towards the likes and interest of their readers. Game Informer is well aware that most of their readers are grown up and mature adults who have still kept apart of their childhood in their life as a hobby. They make sure to appeal to this certain audience by making sure to always cover more mature and adult games, so that they cover the whole spectrum in a sense. I would plan on doing the same with my own magazine that way I have a much larger audience that I could sell to. Marketing and advertising st...

Revisions - Articles

Image
During class one day Mr. Elsbree made a very good point being that if people were to have solid color backgrounds they would be wasting a lot of money on ink. since it is everyone's goal to be cost efficient I changed my backgrounds to a fade. Even thought my magazine will be distributed digitally for the most part. The interior looks a lot better now and if we were ever to print physical copy we would be hurt too much. I also made sure to add page numbers on these pages and made sure that it correlated with my table of contents. Also adding a line underneath the titles to make the over all look much cleaner.

Revision - Table of Contents

Image
After I turned in magazine before winter break I found a lot of minor details that could be fixed in my table of contents. Some of those being that I did not have numbers on the bottom of my page along with the fact that a lot of my images in the boxes where not aligned properly. So I went back in and the changes that were made were making sure that all the images are in their boxes and I added a black border so that it would look cleaner. As you can see I added the page number in the bottom right along with the website where the magazine can be read. I also made sure that all the images were imported properly so that they have a higher resolution.

Revision- Cover Title

Image
When I went over the cover page I felt as though the bottom right of the screen just popped out too much. Along with the fact that I believed that the actual picture on the cover on the magazine was not a very good. So I then went back into publisher and changed the bottom right to a darker shade so that it was a little less out there but still visible. As for the actual image, I went back into the game and tried to see if I could increase the resolution at all but no matter what I did it did not get any better. So I just edited it a little so that I can look the best I could get it with my knowledge.
